ON-GOING ACTIVITIES:
The Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD), is implementing following projects and programs to achieve the aims and objectives of organisation;
- »» Promotion of alternative income generation activities for reducing extreme poverty, discriminations and economic inequalities;
- »» Abolition of bonded labour system, prevention of human trafficking and transforming public justice system with legitimate legal support action;
- »» Implementation of the Forest Rights Act and promoting land rights for tribals to improve land-based activities with local resources;
- »» Enforcement of mother tongue based multilingual early childhood care education for tribal children with right to survive, protection, participation and development;
- »» Effective implementation of Tribal Sub-Plan with constitutional promises for improving living standard of the vulnerable tribal communities;
- »» Promoting rights of women, adolescents and establishing gender equality through strengthening of self-help groups; and
- »» Documentation and research related activities for supporting projects and advocacy work for sustainable social change.
